The 2020 Suncorp Super Netball season has been deferred as part of wider efforts to protect the health and wellbeing of fans, athletes, staff and the broader community.
The decision was made by the Super Netball League Commission (SNLC) taking into account the latest medical and government advice.
Given the rapidly-evolving landscape, the Commission has determined that the start of the season will be deferred and will not commence prior to 30 June.

In round 4, the Vixens will head to their second home at Margaret Court Arena to face the Adelaide Thunderbirds. Boasting a more intimate atmosphere, the Vixens will make use of the crowd’s energy to get them across the line before they take on the reigning premiers on their home turf.
It will be a battle of intercepts, between Vixens defender Emily Mannix and Thunderbirds’ Shamera Sterling, who both broke SSN records last year.
Game date: Sunday 24 May.
