An instant classic on release and still sounding as vital and emotionally resonant as it did back in 2005, Bloc Party͛'s mammoth debut record Silent Alarm will be revisited in full at their hotly anticipated Margaret Court Arena show, Tuesday 27 November, 2018.

Victorians will be given a rare opportunity to experience an album recently described by Complex Magazine as a "long overdue reminder of how urgent and exciting rock could be", and by the NME as "one of the best albums of all time".

Ageing as well as anything released in the past 20 years (if not better), the jagged rhythms and disparate electronic elements of Silent Alarm sound as crucial today as they did 13 years ago. Sound tracking everything from all night raves to desolate breakups, the record has earned a special place in the hearts of its fans.

Further incentive for a foray back into the not-so-distant past will be provided by newly announced support Haiku Hands. Known for their ability to bend genres at will, these Sydney-bred superstars are elite talents. Bringing together hip hop, pop, electronic, dance and disco, their sound will complement the jagged rhythms and disparate electro elements of Silent Alarm to a tee.

Only tickets purchased from our official ticketing partner; Ticketek, are valid for this event. Tickets purchased through any other sources may not be valid and you may not be admitted into the show.
